Martin Ang has more than 35 years of experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) market.  Throughout his career, he established and managed several portfolios including production planning, logistics and operations.  He is a Director at Julie’s Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. and his current role focuses on Sales & Marketing as well as the future expansion of Julie’s brand in both domestic and international markets.

While Martin’s most significant contribution to Julie’s is emphasis on teamwork and internal collaboration that have enabled Julie’s to fulfil its business goals, including the establishment of Julie’s brand in over 80 countries, his current aims are to build Julie’s to be an internationally recognized and renowned brand, as well as to continue promoting Julie’s to the international market which he hopes to see its presence in more than 100 countries very soon.

Martin initiated Global Business Synergy Pte. Ltd. (GBS), a synergistic consortium that brings together Julie’s distributors from 80 countries.  He is currently the CEO of GBS.  The main objectives of GBS, which was established in 2017, are to supply quality consumer products to the targeted markets for sustainable growth of the group and to acquire premium products at a much lower cost since we have wider access to various products and networks globally as well as opportunities for business expansion.

To promote Malaysia’s excellent and high quality products, Martin works closely with Malaysian government agencies such as MITI, MATRADE, MIDA, HDC, FMM, MCMTC and many others.  Martin is the Vice President (International) of MCMTC and he is helping to guide Malaysian Mid-Tier Companies towards penetrating international markets.  In addition, he frequently works hand-in-hand with the local entrepreneurs and innovative organizations, particularly the small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), by sharing, exporting know-how and market information to assist them in expanding their businesses abroad.  Martin anticipates and strongly believes that SMEs in Malaysia have enormous potential in transforming the global economy.
