The summit featured a keynote by YB Dato’ Sri Arthur Joseph Kurup, Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES), and the launch of two key initiatives: RANTAiNEXT, an integrated platform to strengthen supply chain resilience and ESG action, and The ESG Playbook: Practical Steps for Manufacturing SMEs, guiding SMEs to translate sustainability into tangible business outcomes.

Our member Mr Lim Chee Yong of Thumbprints Utd Sdn Bhd was a panel speaker in Panel Session 2: “The Manufacturing Value Chain Reimagined: Practical ESG Steps for SMEs.” He shared a grounded and honest perspective on ESG as a long-term business journey rather than a compliance exercise. His sharing underscored that practical ESG begins with mindset, values, and consistent action, especially for SMEs navigating resource constraints.
