MCMTC recently participated MBCC’s event and it is a proud moment for MBCC as we successfully organized the ASEAN Malaysian Business Chambers Summit 2024 at Sun & Moon Riverside Hotel on 6th December 2024!
Co-organized with Malaysian Business Chamber in Laos (MBCL), Malaysia-Myanmar Business Chamber (MMBC), Malaysian-Thai Chamber of Commerce (MTCC), Malaysia Business Chamber Vietnam – MBC, Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industries Philippines (MCCI), and Malaysia Chambers Jakarta (MCJ), this event was a collaborative effort uniting key players across ASEAN.
The event was commenced by the impactful speeches of MBCC President Oknha Tan Khee Meng, Ambassador of Malaysia to Cambodia, H.E. Shaharuddin Onn, and the keynote address by H.E. Chea Vuthy, Secretary General of the Cambodian Investment Board of ក្រុមប្រឹក្សាអភិវឌ្ឍន៍កម្ពុជា The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), shedding light on the enduring relationship between Cambodia and Malaysia.
The summit also featured insightful presentations from representatives of Malaysian Business Chambers in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia. With a focus on market insights, performance highlights, and 2025 projections, this gathering showcased the region’s economic landscape and the boundless opportunities that lie ahead.
During the event, representatives of the Malaysian Business Chambers exchanged Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation and eventually concluded with an insightful panel discussion.
Today, we celebrate the transformation of our platform into MBCs ASEAN, a dynamic network amplifying the voices of Malaysian businesses in ASEAN. Through cross-border trade, investment, and collaboration, we are forging pathways of opportunity, fostering innovation, and strengthening ties between Malaysia and our ASEAN neighbors.
