MCMTC Trade Mission to Central Asia
From 5–15 November 2025, MCMTC successfully led a 10-day Business Mission to Central Asia, strengthening Malaysia’s trade and investment footprint across Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan. The mission was organised in close collaboration with the Embassies of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, as well as Malaysia’s diplomatic and trade offices in the region.
Representing MCMTC, the delegation was led by President Martin and Vice President Ms Lee Pang, together with participating members from: Julie’s Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, BodiBasixs Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, Cape EMS Berhad, Christee Holding Sdn Bhd, Global Brand Synergy Sdn Bhd (GBS), Lifestyle Venture Sdn Bhd, Marrybrown Sdn Bhd, and Tesomac Sdn Bhd.
The itinerary spanned three key cities: Tashkent, Bishkek, and Almaty, enabling participants to engage with a diverse mix of stakeholders such as manufacturers, distributors, retail groups, government agencies, financial centres, and technology parks. The delegates also visited the FoodExpo Qazaqstan 2025, one of Central Asia’s largest food industry exhibitions, which provided Malaysian F&B companies a platform to survey market trends, meet potential collaborators and strengthen regional visibility.
MCMTC is proud to have successfully organised this mission and remains committed to supporting Malaysian Mid-Tier Companies in unlocking new opportunities across emerging global regions.
