MCMTC attended a strategic meeting with China Mobile International Limited (Intelligent Computing Center) on 09th February 2026 at Yingke Law Firm, Kuala Lumpur organised by our member Ms Maggie of Yingke Consultancy. A total of 11 MCMTC members participated in this session.
China Mobile International’s team presented their global and Asia-Pacific AI intelligent computing strategy, which included an AI Intelligent Computing Center set up in Malaysia. They shared insights as well as scalable digital solutions tailored for Malaysian mid-tier companies and SMEs, focusing on practical applications of 5G connectivity, AI-enabled smart factories and warehouses, as well as AI training to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness. Discussion covered AI intelligent computing services, large language models, AI agent applications, DICT, training & trading/ distribution. It was established that there are high collaboration potential with our members.
Hon. President Mr Callum Chen emphasised that any proposed solutions must be cost-effective and adaptable to the scale of mid-tier companies and SMEs. As a next step, MCMTC will circulate industry-focused questions to better understand
members’ requirements, followed by a larger engagement session featuring local technology players to foster collaboration in supporting manufacturers and service providers.
