Nordic Day Malaysia 2025
MCMTC was invited by the Ambassadors of the Nordic Countries, H.E. Niklas Wiberg (Sweden), H.E. Kirstine Vangkilde Berner (Denmark), H.E. Anne Vasara (Finland) and H.E. Morten Paulsen (Norway) to the joint Nordic Day Celebrations 2025 held on 8th May, at the Botanica+Co at Bamboo Hills.
The Nordic Day is an annual event jointly hosted and organised in turn by the Embassies of Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway in Malaysia. It celebrates the cooperation between the Nordic Countries and reflects the long-standing tradition of close collaboration and shared values between the Nordics. Guests include government officials from various countries, key decision-makers, members of academic and civil society organizations, as well as leading Nordic companies.
The Nordic Day Panel Seminar this year that took place just before the Nordic Day Celebration Reception, emphasised sustainability and the Green transition, with the theme “Malaysia & the Nordics: Partnering for a Greener Future”. The event focused on and discussed the significant collaborations and commitments in sustainability and green innovation between the Nordic countries and Malaysia. There was also an interesting exhibition that highlighted sustainability in the Nordic Countries.
The Panel Seminar was followed by a lively reception where guests from various countries and nationalities gathered to celebrate the spirit of close collaboration and shared values.
We were grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a warm event, catching up with old friends and making new ones.
