MIHAS (Malaysia International Halal Showcase) 2025, which took place 17th-19th Sept, attracted 45,000 visitors, 1,700 exhibitors, and 450 international buyers from over 80 countries. The event featured 2,400 booths across various sectors and included Malaysian exporters, including micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). It is one of the world’s largest platforms for the HALAL Industry and provided valuable opportunities to explore halal trends and connect with stakeholders. Over 80 countries were represented and there were 45 Country Pavilions.
Besides spending time our members’ booths, MCMTC council members also visited the Pavilions of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan & Kazakhstan, countries where MCMTC will be visiting 5th – 15th November 2025. We also attended the Kazakhstan-Malaysia Business Forum as well as the Networking Session held on the 18th Sept 2025, where we gathered further insights on the Country’s trade & investment potential – from Qaz Trade, Kazakh Invest, the Ministry of Trade & Integration of The Republic of Kazakhstan and others. On the 19th Sept 2025, we were also honoured to witness the Official Opening Ceremony of the Global Halal Summit (GhaS) 2025 which was officiated by Y.A.B.Dato’Sri Anwar bin Ibrahim, the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
It was a very fruitful 3 days event, concluding with a celebration of excellence, innovation and sustainability – the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) Awards 2025. There were 14 winners from across Malaysia’s dynamic Halal Industry. Our Heartiest Congratulations to all Winners, all Participants and the Organizers!
