On 10th July 2026, MCMTC President Martin, Honorary Council Member Callum Chen, Ir. Mahmood Azmi and Executive Director Karen Fairclough-Ng attended a meeting with En. Naim Abdul Rahman, Director of the Central, West, South Asia and Africa Section, MATRADE, to discuss the potential establishment of Malaysia House in Central Asia.
The discussion focused on exploring opportunities to strengthen Malaysia’s trade presence in the Central Asian region, while creating greater market access and support mechanisms for Malaysian businesses looking to expand internationally.
The discussion also highlighted the importance of closer collaboration between industry stakeholders and government agencies in identifying new avenues for trade promotion, business networking, and regional expansion opportunities.
Both parties agreed to support each other to put forward the best of Malaysia on the global front.
