On 1 December 2025, MCMTC attended the Malaysia Smart Manufacturing Awards (MSMA) 2025, held at Menara MATRADE. The ceremony celebrated Malaysian companies that have successfully embraced smart manufacturing, digitalisation and Industry 4.0-driven innovation, a key pillar of the New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP 2030).

Held at Menara MATRADE, the awards ceremony was officiated by YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, the out-going Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), who also presented the awards to the winners

Now in its second year, the MSMA is co-organised by Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad (MIDF) and Bizsphere Sdn Bhd, with support from Smart4WRD and the Ministry of Investment, Trade & Industry (MITI). This year’s awards featured four categories: Smart SME, Smart Mid-Tier, Technology Excellence and People Excellence with a total of 36 outstanding nominations across sectors.
