MCMTC was honoured to witness the launch of the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2025, held on 28 August 2025 in Shah Alam. YB Tuan Ng Sze Han, the Selangor State Executive Councillor for Investment, Trade & Mobility gave the welcoming speech and launched the Event together with Selangor State Secretary Datuk Dr Ahmad Fadzli Ahmad Tajuddin, ExCo for Women and Social Welfare Puan Anfaal Saari, Menteri Besar Selangor Inc CEO Datuk Saipolyazan M Yusop and Invest Selangor Bhd CEO Datuk Hasan Azhari Idris. The launch marked the beginning of the summit’s ninth edition which will take place from 8th to 11th October 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).
MCMTC was represented by MCMTC’s Secretary-General, Ms Mag Ng (Compliance Director of Mega Fortris Bhd), and Ms Karen Fairclough-Ng (Executive Director, MCMTC).
SIBS has grown into a platform for trade, investment and innovation in the region, with this year’s theme emphasising ASEAN collaboration, economic resilience and inclusive growth.
SIBS 2025 will feature six major components: the Selangor International F&B Expo, Investment and Industrial Park Expo, Smart City and Digital Economy Convention, ASEAN Business Conference, alongside with two new additions event: the Selangor Aerospace Summit and the Selangor International Care Summit.
With 70% of preparations already completed, promotional efforts are actively rolling out across ASEAN and within Malaysia.
