It all started with a phonecall from Ms Yoges of InvestKL to our Sec-Gen, Ms Mag Ng in early August and on 15th August 2024, our President Mr. Martin Ang and Hon. President Mr. Callum Chen, met up with Ms Yoges and Mr. Hazizal, at PPRM’s, or what is popularly known as DonDonDonki, office at Lot 10 Annexe in K.L.
It was a great meeting and our leaders understood quickly what PPRM (DON DONDONKI) was looking for when they said ‘exploring collaboration with OEM Manufacturers in Halal food and household industries’.
The next meeting was quickly set up for our President Martin Ang to meet up with the holding company PPIH (Pan Pacific International Holdings) Directors and Category Managers / Buyers in Tachikawa HQ, Tokyo on Sept 11, 2024 (refer to our earlier post: MCMTC making inroads into Japan!).
On 23rd Sept 2024 (Monday) morning, 7 of our member companies presented their unique proposals to PPRM:

The second meeting has been planned for mid-October 2024 and we look forward to introducing more of our AWESOME members to PPRM! President Hazizal of PPRM did mention that DDD is looking for 2000 SKUs (Halal) for their stores. Please quickly drop your proposals to our Secretariat if you are keen to explore the potential of supplying to DonDonDonki outlets in28/9/2024 Malaysia, Singapore and beyond!
