Greetings from the Mid-Tier Companies Development Programme (MTCDP) organised by MATRADE and Deloitte Consulting (M) Sdn Bhd.
Overview Of MATRADE’s MTCDP
Developed and implemented by MATRADE since 2014, the MTCDP is a special 9-month programme (FOC) designed to boost the export growth of Mid-Tier Companies (MTCs) in the manufacturing and services sectors.
The main objective of the MTCDP is to establish competitive and globally renowned MTCs. Today, more than 300 MTCs had participated and benefited from this programme. In the fiscal year of 2022, MTCDP participants had experienced positive Y-o-Y growth in export revenue.

Selection Criteria
The MTCDP is designed for export-oriented companies that are poised for growth. Companies must adhere to the criteria below and demonstrate a high commitment to follow-through with the programme.

Potential companies must meet the following:
- Your company satisfies the sector and revenue criteria above.
- Achieve positive growth and CAGR in the past 3 or 5 years.
- At least 60% Malaysian ownership.
- Plan to export, or currently exporting, or have experience in exporting.
- Innovative, sustainable, and scalable business model.
