We are delighted to share the success of MCMTC’s 6th Annual General Meeting, held on June 19th 2024, at Le Méridien Petaling Jaya. This year’s AGM was a remarkable event filled with insightful discussions, inspiring speeches, and valuable networking opportunities.
The meeting kicked off with a warm welcome by our Secretary General, Ms. Faith Toh. Our President Callum Chen then delivered an insightful report highlighting our achievements and strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening the ecosystem for our members.
During the sharing session with the winners of the Export Excellence Awards 2023, moderated by Ms. Mag Ng (Compliance Director, Mega Fortris Bhd), we heard inspiring stories from Datuk Anna Teo, C.E.O. of Hernan Corporation Sdn Bhd; Chee Seng Chu, M.D. of Vepro Group Sdn Bhd; BK Ong, C.E.O. of G. B. INDUSTRIES SDN.BHD..; and Ms.YAN HUA LAN, M.D. of Erapoly Global Sdn Bhd ( Export ).
We were honoured to have Y.B. Tuan Ng Sze Han, Exco Selangor for Investment, Trade and Mobility, to deliver an insightful keynote address. This was followed by a panel discussion titled “Opportunities & Challenges for 2024/2025”, moderated by Ms. Mag Ng, featuring Y.B. Tuan Ng Sze Han, alongside with industry leaders Mr. Callum Chen, C.E.O / Chairman of LH PLUS SDN BHD; Ms. Christina Tee C.E.O. of Cape EMS Berhad; Mr. George Yap, M.D. of Weng Meng Group Of Companies; and Dato’ Dr. Munirah Looi, Founder and Strategic Advisor of Brandt Business Services Sdn. Bhd.
Mr. Martin Ang, Director of Julie’s Biscuits, then closed the event by summarizing our journey over the past 6 years and our expectations of the coming years.
Last but not least, a heartfelt thank you to our Master of Ceremonies, Mr. Qisheng Tai, C.E.O. of GIIB Group, and all sponsors who contributed to making this event a success. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended; your presence made this AGM truly special.
