Heartiest Congratulations to Cape EMS Berhad for the launching of the company’s Initial Public Offering (IPO)’s prospectus today.
Cape EMS Berhad, a member of MCMTC, is principally an investment holding company and involved in the provision of electronics manufacturing services (EMS). Ms Christina Tee, the Non-Independent Managing Director/ Group CEO of Cape EMS Berhad is also the Vice President (Domestic) of MCMTC as well as the President of MICCI.
Based on the enlarged share capital of 923.0 million shares post-IPO and the retail price of RM0.90 per share, Cape EMS Berhad’s market capitalisation works out to be approximately RM830.7 million upon listing on the Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market on 10 March 2023.
The proceeds from the IPO, among others, will go towards the setting-up of a new cleanroom facility, purchase of new automated production lines, construction of a new warehouse, installation of automated storage facilities, working capital, purchase of new machinery and equipment and installation of an energy saving cooling system.
