Ir. Mahmood Azmy M Shukri

Ir. Mahmood Azmy M Shukri – CEO MECIP Global Engineers Sdn Bhd.

Ir. Mahmood holds a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University, USA. He is the CEO of MECIP GLOBAL ENGINEERS, an engineering company involved in design, digital twin, artificial intelligence, machine learning and project consultancy services in the oil and gas industry in Malaysia. Ir. Mahmood hails from Kota Bharu, Kelantan.

He started his career in 1987 as a Project Engineer and has accumulated total work experience of over 37 years with companies such as PETRONAS and Huntsman (US-based company), covering oil refinery, petrochemical and pigment processing plants in Kerteh, Kemaman and Terengganu.

He holds a prominent role in the Malaysian business landscape and has been an active council member for three terms with MCMTC; working closely with MATRADE and promoting Malaysia’s product and services in many trade missions to the Middle East, Central Asia, ASEAN, USA and Europe.

He is also involved in many initiatives/projects supporting the industry and education. He is an Industry Panel Advisor for a few local universities in Malaysia.

Mahmood is also an active member of the Institute of Engineers Malaysia and Board of Engineers Malaysia.
