With over 35 years of extensive experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) market, Martin Ang has demonstrated remarkable expertise in establishing and managing diverse portfolios within the organization.

Currently serving as a Director at Julie’s Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd., Martin’s focus is on driving Sales & Marketing initiatives and spearheading the brand’s expansion in both domestic and international markets. His strategic vision continues to propel Julie’s brand forward in a competitive industry landscape.

Martin Ang is focused on fostering teamwork and external collaboration, which has been instrumental in achieving the company’s business goals, including establishing the Julie’s brand in international markets. His current objectives are to elevate Julie’s into an internationally recognized and esteemed brand while continuing to expand its global presence, with a vision to see the brand in over 100 countries in the near future.

Inspired by Julie’s success, Martin Ang initiated Global Business Synergy Pte. Ltd. (GBS), a consortium that unites Julie’s distributors worldwide. As the current CEO of GBS, he leads this initiative, which was established in 2017 by Julie’s and her distributors from 14 countries. GBS specializes in market expansion and brand management. GBS acts as an intermediary between suppliers and distributors in different parts of the world. Suppliers can leverage our expertise, business acumen, and extensive distribution network to boost their sales. Distributors who engage GBS’s services gain access to a diverse range of products from across the globe, with the added advantage of acquiring these products at significantly lower costs through bulk purchasing. This approach not only opens up opportunities for business expansion but also enhances overall ROI.

Martin Ang actively promotes Malaysia on the global stage, showcasing the country’s high-quality products and collaborating closely with key Malaysian government agencies such as MITI, MATRADE, MIDA, HDC, FMM, and MCMTC. As the President of MCMTC, Martin exemplifies the entrepreneurial mindset, tirelessly working to expand global markets and drive international growth. He engages with local entrepreneurs and innovative organizations, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), by sharing export expertise and market insights to support their expansion into international markets. Martin firmly believes that Malaysia’s SMEs possess immense potential to transform the global economy.

Additionally, Martin initiated a program dedicated to mentoring future Mid-Tier Companies (MTCs), underscoring his commitment to nurturing the next generation of business leaders. With a deep understanding of the complexities of the business world, he recognizes the good, the bad, and the ugly facets of entrepreneurship, navigating challenges with resilience and insight.
