Ancom Berhad (Ancom) was incorporated on 3 March 1969 as Ansul (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd to pioneer the manufacturing of agricultural chemicals and herbicides in Malaysia. After several changes in management and shareholders, Ancom assumed its present name on 9 September 1989 and listed on the then Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange on 29 March 1990.
Now, Ancom is a diversified group with the following business divisions:
- Agricultural and industrial chemicals – manufacturing and sale of agricultural and industrial chemicals;
- Public Health & Hygiene – provision of pest control, washroom & hygiene, fumigation and space & surface sanitizing services;
- Polymer – manufacturing and marketing of polymer products;
- Logistics – provision of transportation, container haulage, bulk cargo handling, chemicals warehousing and related services;
- Information technology – provision of information technology services and sales of computer hardware and software; and
- Media – provision of digital and out-of-home advertising media space.
Ancom is the holding company of Nylex (Malaysia) Berhad and Ancom Logistics Berhad, both listed on the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad’s Main Market and ACE Market respectively. AnGuard is a skin and surface disinfectant that is suitable for hand and surface sanitisation. It comes in two variants; alcohol based, and non-alcohol based.

- Formulated following strict guidelines and recommendations by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and has been approved by the National
Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency. - Non-alcohol version is safe to use especially around children and household pets.
