30 September 2025. The MBSB Group Anchor Companies Open Day & Vendor Business Matching Sessions was held at the Sime Darby Convention Centre.
Co-organised by MBSB Group and MIDF, the event connected over 400 SMEs and MTCs with 20 anchor companies, including Malaysia Airlines, PERODUA, PLUS, etc to explore potential business collaborations. Quite a few of our MCMTC members were selected to participate in the event as verified suppliers, pitching to the 20 anchor companies. Kudos to the MBSB Group & MIDF for a successful event.
The highlight of the event was the official launch of the GLOMAX programme by YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade & Industry. GLOMAX (Global Market Access Accelerator) has a RM100million fund and the programme combines financing with advisory support for SMEs and MTCs. It aims to help high-potential SMEs and mid-tier companies to become export-ready, strengthen supply-chain credibility and access working capital that grows with performance. MCMTC is honored to be invited to be one of the strategic partners for this Programme, which also brings together ecosystem enablers such as the Malaysia External Trade Development Corp (Matrade), SME Corp, Malaysian Technology Development Corp (MTDC) and Malaysia Design Development Centre (DDEC).
