Zenxin Agri-Organic Food Sdn Bhd (Zenxin Organic Food) was incorporated in 2002 as a subsidiary of Zenxin Agriculture SdnBhd. Marking its 17th year in organic food industry, Zenxin is now the leaders in organic fresh and grocery supplies to both Malaysia and Singapore markets. Zenxin Organic Food is Malaysia’s leading producer, distributor and retailer of certified organic produce and the whole supply chain has obtained its Australian-based NASAA Organic certification since 2008.
Zenxin Organic Food delivers almost 100 varieties of premium NASAA certified fresh produce to its 13 organic retail outlets, 150 supermarkets and retailers in these two countries every day. Its grocery house brand, Simply Natural, which was established since 2010, has now over 350 types of premium organic and natural products, including minimally-processed organic products such as handmade noodles, mee suas, tropical herbal teas etc. with the rich resources from its own farms. Zenxin Organic Food grows with sustainability in mind. With its eco initiatives, the company has a dedicated team to study on how to reduce the impact to the environment. In 2019, Zenxin Organic Food pledges to be join in the movement to contribute to “Sustainability Development Goals” suggested by UN by 2030.
To date, about 360 hectares of farmland were converted to organic farmlands under Zenxin’s Grower Initiative in recruiting organic farmers. Apart from its organic farms and product development, Zenxin Organic Food is also a pioneer in ecotourism. Zenxin Organic Park was the first open-to-public organic farm that combines food education and recreation fun in one place. In 2017, Zenxin Travel was incorporated in Singapore, specialising in in-depth food origin tour within Malaysia and overseas. Zenxin Organic Food has also set its foot on China. The organic retail business in China is expected to be in operation in first half of 2020, marking the beginning of its fully certified organic supply chain catering the Chinese market.
