Happy Listening! It is an underlying message of sharing wealth creation with SMEs/MSMEs in our journey.
As summarised by one of our members:
The asks are targeted at key growth drivers and support for SMEs and MTCs.
- Channel more to MATRADE’s MDG to Encourage more Exporters especially the SMEs.
- More support for exporters wt Own Brands, encourage businesses to Go Beyond OEM n ODM.
- Increase RA to 70%, extend to 2030 for Longer Term Planning.
- Increase SJPP govt guaranteed loan amt to RM40m to further Increase Momentum of DDI.
- Enable micro-SMEs to borrow more easily, use a Lower set of Criteria so that More MSMEs can Qualify. No Money No Talk and without the Banks’ Support, MSMEs Cannot Move Forward.
- TVET which helps in skilling up employees wt Sectoral Trade Associations like the Malaysian Plastics Manufacturers Association (MPMA, started their Plastics Technology n Training Centre in 1998), should be given Grants to Help their 90+% members which are SMEs.
