A delegation from MCMTC successfully completed an overseas business mission to Vientiane, Lao PDR and Kunming, China. Organised in conjunction with the invitation from the Malaysia Business Chambers Lao PDR, the delegates attended the ASEAN Malaysian Business Chambers Summit 2025 held in Vientiane on the 12thSept 2025. The Summit is held annually and hosted by different members in the different countries where the Malaysia – ASEAN Business Chambers are located.
This Mission, from 11th to 16th Sept 2025, was led by our President Mr. Martin Ang and Sec-Gen. Ms Mag Ng. Participants were from member companies: Julie’s Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, Yingke Consulting Sdn Bhd, Global Brand Synergy Sdn Bhd, Fedelis Sdn Bhd, Gourmet Ingredients Sdn Bhd, Vepro Group Sdn Bhd, Mega Fortris Bhd and representatives from the Malaysia Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Philippines.
We are grateful to the President of Malaysia Chamber of Commerce-Lao, Mr. Tee Chee Seng and his team for organising impactful visits for our members to the Lao National Chamber of Commerce & Industry, insightful market visits and networking sessions with other ASEAN members. The other highlight was the visit to the Thanaleng Inland Port, a crucial rail transhipment hub which connects Malaysia directly to Kunming, China.
We are also grateful to our Corporate Associate Member, Yingke Consulting Sdn Bhd, led by Ms Maggie Yao, who played a key role in organising the business visits and the business networking sessions in Kunming, Yunnan, China.
This mission marks another meaningful step in MCMTC’s #GoingGlobal efforts—strengthening regional connectivity, enabling members to explore new frontiers, and building long-term partnerships within ASEAN and China.
