Thank you to the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MICCI) for hosting the meeting with the Siauliai Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Crafts (SCCIC). The Courtesy Visit was led by Mr. Vtis Lembutis, President of SCCIC, and Ms. Edita Grigaliauskiene, Director General of SCCIC, along with a distinguished Lithuanian delegation.
The discussions at MICCI were chaired by Ms. Christina Tee, National President of MICCI, and Mr. Martin Ang, President of the Malaysian Consortium of Mid-Tier Companies (MCMTC). They were joined by key representatives from the Malaysian business community, including Mr. Nathan Chiam of TS Electrical Marketing Sdn Bhd, Mr. Subendran Sathanandan of Howden, and representatives from SB Tapes Group, Ms. Nicole Loh, and Mr. Jun Mun. The visit was organized by Mr. Wayne Shu Guo Qui from MICCI.
The meeting facilitated productive discussions on shared economic interests between SCCIC and MICCI, highlighting collaboration opportunities in sectors like electronics, sustainable manufacturing, and technology. Both chambers exchanged insights on industry advancements and explored ways to enhance bilateral trade by leveraging Malaysia’s and Lithuania’s strategic roles in their regions. Key opportunities for joint ventures and partnerships were identified, particularly in mid-tier manufacturing, focusing on skill-sharing, innovation, and market expansion. The meeting also underscored the importance of cultural exchange and smoother market entry, setting a strong foundation for future collaboration and strengthened economic ties. Both MICCI and MCMTC are looking forward to more collaborations.
