In-house specialty: TigerPro™
In 2016, Nexus Wise successfully developed the proprietary indoor cultivation of tiger milk mushroom (TigerPro) through the utilisation of biotechnology. TigerPro is a stable strain of lignosus rhinocerus (NB08), which is confirmed using DNA fingerprinting and phylogenetic tree analysis. The proprietary ‘green cultivation technology’ of TigerPro produces a natural tuber by mimicking the natural growth process of the tiger milk mushroom. This premium quality tuber is cultivated under a strictly controlled environment with optimum processes. Large-scale cultivation of TigerPro also ensures that supply is consistent and sustainable.
In 2021, Nexus Wise and UCSI University concluded collaboration on first ever human clinical trials of Tiger Milk Mushroom (TigerPro™) on respiratory health, immunity and antioxidant status. The publication was featured on Scientific Reports (6th most-cited journal in the world) under the title of “Effect of tiger milk mushroom (Lignosus rhinocerus) supplementation on respiratory health, immunity and antioxidant status: an open-label prospective study”.
